Current needs – Your chance to give big
– TELEPHONE for 45-year-old disabled Christian woman living on Beacon Hill. She is also looking for someone to work as a caregiver and drive her on errands, to the food bank, or appointments.
– BED, either a long twin or a queen, for a 6'4" teenager who lives with his grandmother.
– RV SPACE NEEDED OR LIVING SITUATION. Senior female physical trainer who is struggling financially and needs a place to park her 20 foot RV with electrical hookup. She is living in it until a better situation opens up. She is willing to trade training in balance, stretching and physical exercise for 22' RV space (or better yet, trade for a live-in situation for room and board...possibly with a senior or someone needing physical therapy.
– KITCHEN SINK needed to replace this one in a senior's house. The faucet is a little unusual in that it projects out of the wall. But the sink's porcelain has worn down to the rusty steel an is totally shot. Size of sink needs to be 30" x 20" (perhaps a couple of inches longer than 30" will work).
– PERSONAL HYGIENE ITEMS: shampoo and conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes, baby hygiene items, diapers of all sizes, disposable razors, makeup, soap and deodorant (full size containers) for women's drug rehab center.
– DONATIONS of materials or money to fund projects.
– SMOKE ALARMS and 9 volt batteries.
– GIFT CARDS for Lowe's or Home Depot so we can purchase supplies.
– VOLUNTEER your truck and time for hauling materials, trash, or picking up furniture.
– MEN OR WOMEN VOLUNTEERS to help clean up, decorate, or organize a senior's home.
Surplus Items to Give Away
– 1 tall torchier floor lamps to go to good homes. They use 150 watt halogen bulbs.
– A round wooden KITCHEN TABLE AND CHAIRS to give away to someone in need.
– A new furnace for a small home to a needy family.
– 3 cell phones that are available to a needy person.
– File cabinet.
– Bathroom sink, faucet and cabinet combo.
